Sympathy Bible Verses
Sympathy Bible Versers were encouraging to be. During the late 90's when I lost both of my parents to Cancer I received so many sympathy cards. These cards were truly a blessing to me. I displayed them on my fire-place and read them often to encourage my soul. The pre-printed words and words of sympathy and kindness was received in my heart with much gratitude and appreciation. How can you show sympathy to those who have encountered tragedy or difficult times in their lives? Simple, through God's Holy Word, the Bible. There are many scriptures that you can use to offer sympathy to those in need.

And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled, but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame. For it is better, if God should will it so, that you suffer for doing what is right rather than for doing what is wrong. (1 Peter 3:14-17)
But if anyone suffers as a Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to glorify God in this name. (1 Peter 4:16)
