Friendship Bible Verses

Friendship bible verses can be used at anytime. For example when mailing a card to a friend, purchase a blank card, then write in the card a bible verse about friendship. This will encourage your friend to go to the bible and actually read the bible verse. Not only that, your friend will be happy to know that you took the time and found a bible verse on friendship that best fit your relationship. I just think that it is better to receive a card or written correspondence from someone when it is not pre-printed. Go ahead, try it sometime and see what amazing response you may get from your friends.

Examine your Friendships based on these Bible Scriptures . . . . .

"A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother."
(Prov 18:24)

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
(Eccl 4:9-12)

"A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity."
(Prov 17:17)

"This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you."
(John 15:12-15)

"A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother."
(Proverbs 18:24)

There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn't confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.
(John 15:13–15)

As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.
(Proverbs 27:17)

The heartfelt counsel of a friend is as sweet as perfume and incense.
(Proverbs 27:9)

A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.
(Proverbs 17:17)

The godly give good advice to their friends; the wicked lead them astray.
(Proverbs 12:26)
